The March for Compassion Video Series - Donna Oliver
This is part of the March for Compassion video series highlighting the importance of medical marijuana for Donna Oliver, lifelong resident of Syracuse, New York. Donna is calling on New York State legislators to pass the Compassionate Care Act. Donna has secondary-progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS) and as a result, suffers from hearing loss, blindness in one eye, and back pain. Medications have proven to be ineffective in treating the symptoms; however, her doctors suggest that medical marijuana may be effective in managing her condition. The CCA will allow Donna to access the treatment she needs.
